So I guess red lipps are in...... av been saying red lipps are the way to go. Av been rocking my full lipps (made even fuller by the red lipstick since way back) My other motto is whenever I feel a little crappy I always wear my lip stick and the world is a little better :) If your not a fan of red or just dont feel that look for day time look, I highly reccomend a brownish orange color, it has the same drama without being "daytime innapropriate" Wear some lipps right now!!!! Mwaah! Continue reading ...

Colin Stuart has the Devon Convertible Boot
at Victoria’s Secret on sale for a fantastic $129. Michael Kors, Ann
Demeulemeester and various other designers have convertible boots as
well, but from the photos online, this one is by far my favorite, the
least complicated (who needs five lengths?), and by far the cheapest.
The top suede part zips off and then the bottom part is a leather
ankle boot. Useful for changeable weather, money-saving and attractive.
Nice! I’d protect the boot (but e... Continue reading ...

Americans" The audience for these shows was largely working-class whites, and at
first the black face character was actually a smart and sympathetic one.
But as time went on, the minstrel show took on a more racist tone. the outrage of black fa... Continue reading ...

I woke up this morning and just wanted to play some Miriam Makeba, I picked a "night with Belafonte" a duo where she and Harry Belafonte did a couple of duo's. After several hours into the day I saw a blog Post on www.mimimagazine reminding me that, on this very day November 10th 2008 Miriam makeba passed away while performing in Italy It is exactly a year after the passing of Miriam Makeba. She inspired me to be proud of being an African Woman and in a lot of ways molded me into a woman that ... Continue reading ...

MODELS DYED BLACK
Stirring up controversy...
Just two weeks ago, Vogue Paris stirred up controversy for coloring
Lara Stone’s skin into a dark, nearly black tan for an editorial
photographed by Steven Klein.

It’s a misstep on Carine’s part that the spread is linked with racism.
If they would like to feature a black model for a supermodel issue,
they could get Naomi or Liya at any time. However, ther... Continue reading ...
