Utamaduni Wear shows at Malindi

March 16, 2010
Utamaduni Wear and other designers showed at Malindi Casino Fashion week. I know I've been late posting this but we had a little boo boo with the pictures and am still sorting it out. Please excuse the quality of the pictures, they were taken outside at night. Fortunately I have a couple of pictures that will show the gist of our show....her you go!

We opened the show with metallic power suits in Pinkish purple and black and gold...Chinese collar and wide 3/4 sleeves, Jackets tie in the front

form fitting maroon and gold dress...the next one is the off shoulder version that we didn't get to show

We showed the one on the left because the puffy one on the right didn't fit our model :( ....not sure which one I will mass produce, just might have both :)

Ruffles galore to the left ...I loves me some ruffles lately they're just DRAMA!!! The one to the left is for the simpler girl spaghetti straps and simple elagant silhouette

Long flowey green embroidered dress

The rest of the pictures are too distorted but I'm still working on getting you some more
Make up: Oriflame
Jewelery: House of Goddesa
Venue: Malindi Casino

After the show:

Check out the beaches

How to get around: Forget a rental car this is the way to go

The whole town is really charming, the stores are full of great art and beautiful individual pieces

What to eat: This is biriani rice and curried chicken...yummy

Night Life: theres a couple of bar type spots that are quite good but I prefer to be in a club, they had a lounge, club and bar in this same building and plus their Martini's were FIYAH!!!

Big shout out to my assistant Elaine, she was fantastic and KICKED ASS! As a treat for the awesome trip we watched Alice in Wonderland in 3D at Nyali cinema

thats all folks!!!!!
